ORIGINAL STORY: Connor, a hard-working and loyal Rave Rhino K9 has been diagnosed with Splenic histiocytic sarcoma. The team is urgently seeking donations for his urgent medical care.
UPDATES ON CONNOR Since sharing the sad news of K9 Connor’s splenic histiocytic sarcoma diagnosis, The Peninsula All Suite Hotel has managed to raise R10 000 for his treatment.
Unfortunately, with a medical bill of R65 000, this is not nearly enough, which is why Dream Hotels & Resorts’ NPO, Touching Dreams, has now joined the cause to help raise the required funds.

Although he has made positive progress and is officially in remission, his journey to recovery is not quite over yet. Our heroic little hound is now undergoing eight rounds of chemotherapy to ensure he stays in remission.
Connor completed round six on 21 March at Inanda Veterinary Hospital and will be going for bloodwork on 29 March at Hayfields Veterinary Hospital.
Although he becomes lethargic after each session, within a few days, he returns to his confident, cocky, and energetic self. The team has also become quite creative in getting him to take his extra vitamins and supplemen
