Gala dinner fundraisers
Held at the conclusion of each Hospitality Industry Think Tank, these benefit events bring together leaders from across South Africa’s tourism and hospitality sector to celebrate the industry’s achievements — while raising critical funds for youth development and conservation initiatives.
Total funds raised over the last two years: Over R1.4 million
Previous gala dinners in Johannesburg have featured live performances by Jesse Clegg.
The events have also showcased the next generation of artistic talent, with performances by the Wits School of Arts and the non-profit organisation Moving into Dance.
By combining thought leadership, entertainment and philanthropy, the gala evenings reflect the collaborative spirit that underpins the Think Tank movement.
This year's Gala Dinner is taking place on 31 July 2026.
