Reach for a Dream
Reach for a Dream is one of Touching Dreams' original beneficiaries. Over the past few years, we have collaborated to fulfill the dreams of South African children living with life-threatening illnesses.
Dreamers and their families are hosted at hotels and resorts across the country, where teams on the ground go above and beyond to create unforgettable experiences. From managing travel logistics to arranging thoughtful surprises, these experiences are designed to ensure every Dreamer feels loved and cherished as their dreams are realised.

Langkloof Orphanage Programme
Located in the Northern Drakensberg, Langkloof has long served as a haven for AIDS orphans and vulnerable children. Established in 2002 as a refuge for 50 children, it has grown into a fully registered non-profit organisation with extensive facilities. It now has a community hall, playground, crèche, pre-primary school, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and essential infrastructure like electricity, running water and proper sanitation.
Its hydroponic vegetable garden supports a feeding programme that provides daily meals to over 450 children — including primary and high school learners who might otherwise go hungry. The project also invests in education by employing full-time teachers, caregivers and staff while also equipping Amaphisi High School with a computer centre and library.
Christel House
Christel House South Africa is dedicated to empowering children from the most vulnerable communities to rise above adversity, realise their potential, and become thriving citizens in a more equitable South Africa. They do this by providing the comprehensive support system they need to thrive, both in school and beyond, from classrooms to life. Their holistic model supports students for up to 19 years, including five years post-Matric.
In addition to Touching Dreams’ ongoing financial support, The Peninsula All-Suite Hotel annually hosts Grade 11 learners as part of the career development component of Christel House’s holistic support model.

The organisation relies heavily on community support to continue providing care and opportunity to these young lives.
Endangered Wildlife Trust
The Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) is a leading conservation NGO and Public Benefit Organisation dedicated to protecting Africa’s biodiversity. Touching Dreams supports EWT’s Birds of Prey “Eye in the Sky” initiative.
The project monitors and protects endangered vulture populations across South Africa. Conservation is an ongoing effort, and sustained funding ensures field teams can continue their critical work. Supporting this initiative helps safeguard critically endangered wildlife while contributing to healthier ecosystems for future generations.

Little Switzerland Resort in the Drakensberg has been Langkloof Orphanage Project’s long-standing primary benefactor. In 2024, Touching Dreams sponsored essential renovations and
maintenance upgrades to improve facilities.
